Lo Pressure Beds
Low Pressure Beds are the backbone of most tanning salons. What makes them “Low Pressure” is the UVA, UVB output ratio in their bulbs. While Hi-Pressure Beds emit almost exclusively UVA rays, Lo-Pressure Beds have a balance of UVA/UVB rays to jumpstart your tan.
Bellevue Tanning Club uses exclusively Tan America equipment. Based in California, Tan America has been an industry leader in manufacturing the highest quality tanning equipment for over 20 years, offering three different levels of Lo-Pressure Beds and Stand-Ups.
Santa Barbara Beds
Level 1.

Our 32-bulb Santa Barbara beds are used at our salons as our “regular” beds, but are exceptional tanning equipment. Each unit includes 32 staggered 100w bulbs, an internal CD stereo system with the speakers mounted over your head, and an internal body fan cooling system. Designed to deliver an outstanding tan in 20 minutes or less, this classic style tanning system can be purchased by the minute, by the visit, by the month, or even by the year. |
Hi-Power
Level 2.

This level-2 system will deliver great results in just 15 minutes or less. The “32-2” offers 16 hi-power 160w reflector bulbs* overhead, 16 100w reflector bulbs below, plus two 400w facials, and is only a $3.00 upgrade from our regular beds. These units are also equipped with a CD stereo unit and body fan system. |
- What is a Reflector Bulb? Normal cylinder type bulbs emit light in all directions, 360 degrees around the entire surface of the bulb. Reflector bulbs have a built-in reflector manufactured along the bottom surface of the bulb, forcing the entire light emitted by the bulb upwards, towards you the tanner. These bulbs are therefore much more efficient and effective in tanning.

Tan America 15-Minute Stand-Up

Stand-Up units are great tanners, because they give you a more all-around tan, reaching areas (such as under arms and under the chin) that are harder to reach in conventional beds. And this Stand-Up packs a punch. It includes 48 160w bulbs which completely surround your body. We recommend using stand-ups at least every 3rd or 4th tanning session to achieve the best and most even tan. |
